Memorial Day Weekend

For the long weekend we thought we should do something to enjoy the nice weather we've been having here. When Stephen took his mountain biking class he found lots of great hiking trails in Corvallis. Saturday we all went on a hike at Chip Ross Park. It was only about a 1 - 1.5 mile hike but it was long enough to have some fun!

All ready to go in pretty pink sunglasses.

Hiking is such hard work.

Time for a nap... or is it?

There was just enough slope that Evelyn kept going after she rolled over. Her first double roll! (other than her chin, her Daddy says)

Enjoying the sun and the plug.

Now we're done with the plug. Ptewww!

You can see nearly all of Corvallis from the top.

I like to put my plug in my own mouth.

Someone has to watch my Daddy's back.

Why Evelyn does not get put in her swing anymore

Park Trip the Sequel

This is my first time in this without my car seat are you sure its safe?

Well in that case.

Lets Roll!

Don't tell anyone but I didn't really crawl through the tunnel on my own.

Are we going to try the curly slide today?

Boring!!!

Just don't make me do it again.

Because its still boring.

Hi Mommy!

This is where the real action is. Why didn't you bring me here first.

You better watch out.

After the park I went home to help my mom make some cookies.

Easter

Happy Easter! After church we took Evelyn home and gave her an Easter basket. She thought the bunny looked like a lot of fun. The bunny was from her grandma. Mommy and Daddy gave her a new big girl bottle and a teething ring. By the way, she hates the bottle.

Here is Evelyn ready to dye some Easter eggs.

Daddy got to dye some too.

And when the eggs ran out he wasnt' done. He decided to dye Evelyn! Can you see the blue smiley face?

Evelyn thought the green egg looked mighty tasty.

Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. Green eggs and ... where's the ham?

Look at all those eggs.

Oh they move! Look at those eggs fly!

Its been a while so lets catch up

On the 4th of April we went to Julie and Steven's wedding. They are friends of ours from CCC. They have been together for as long as we have (though, they refused to admit they were dating for a few months!). It was a very nice ceremony, though Evelyn started being fussy and I ended up having to watch through the windows at the back of the sanctuary. At the reception I got to see an old friend of mine who spends all her time traveling the world. Laurel (that's her name) is going to be spending a year in Hungry teaching English. Hope you have lots of fun, Laurel!

Here is a picture of Julie and Steven as they are exchanging vows.

Here is Evelyn all dressed up in a pretty pink fooffy dress. Isn't she cute!

Here she is again! And yes, she's still cute. Here face is all squished because it's hard to hold a baby in a silky dress. Every one at the wedding thought she was so adorable.

This is Laurel and Harrison. Harrison is Julie and Steven's bear. They have been having bear children since they started dating. How scandalous!
