Back to School Clothes

So you may say that Evelyn is only 8 1/2 months old and doesn't go to school so she doesn't need new school clothes. And I'll say, "She has gone to school since she was 2 weeks old. And it was college at that!" So I had to get my smart little girl some new school clothes. The ones from last year are so last year... not to mention WAY too small. I got most of them at Target for like $4 a piece, a reasonable price I thought. The other two outfits came from Costco (where I also bought some Christmas ribbon, even though it's still August). I think she'll be pretty cute when she goes back to school. All we still need is a Halloween costume.

Cute Silly Evelyn

Before church on Sunday, Evelyn was just crawling around the living room in her pjs which are way to big (they're size 18 months... she's not). Just thought I'd share some pictures. Oh, and there's a picture or two of Evelyn's favorite pasttime... SHOE EATING!!! Yes, we know it's gross. Yes, we know she shouldn't. We stop her all the time, and she still finds more shoes (she has even been known to nibble on a shoe or two during Sacrament meeting). This time we couldn't resist taking a picture.

New Garbage Can

Evelyn likes to play with our garbage can. It is a really good height for her to use to pull herself up. And it has fun plastic stuff hanging over the edge. Who can resist? So, last weekend we went garbage can shopping. We found a can at Target that is taller and has a lid. We took pictures because I'm sure you all want to see, ha ha.

Yummy Biscuits!

This morning before church, Stephen made biscuits and gravy. It was Evelyn's first biscuit. She sure seemed to love it! Notice the little piece on the tip of her noise.

If you look really close on this first one, you can see all four of her teeth (2 on top and 2 on bottom). She as decided that one tooth at a time teething is not for her, lets just hope she doesn't take a page out of Oakley's book and do 5 at once!

Do Make Me Go To Bed!!!

For any of you who didn't already know that Evelyn HATES to go to sleep, let these pictures help inform you. The first to are just a little winy. The last one is full out "how dare you do this to me!"

PS: After this her crib got lowered... you should have hear what she had to say about that!

Laurel and Evelyn

Last weekend some friends of mine from high school came down to Corvallis to visit. Of the three of them who were here, two are almost afraid of Evelyn. At least of babies. But the third liked playing with her. And boy did Evelyn seem to love Laurel! Here is a picture of them. Evelyn was in her jammies all ready for bed.
