Stephen teaches the 4 year-olds now (yeah, I know, crazy) and during sharing time the primary kids were drawing picture of things that Jesus did for them/us. One of the little boys (who just turned 5) drew a picture of Jesus then started looking for a brown crayon to draw the cross. Once he found it, he resumed drawing and started muttering under his breath...
"It's too late, Jesus. Now you're going to get it."
Well, at least that's what Stephen thinks he heard. The other thing that happen at church today was that, surprise surprise, Evelyn didn't want to go to Sunday School and Relief Society with me. Big shocker, I know. While we were making our customary rounds about the church, the nursery door opened and so I peaked in a asked if we could join. Evelyn is only 13 months old, but she definitely is not learning anything "churchy" doing laps with me for 2 hours every Sunday. Nursery was lots of fun! She got to have snack with all the other kids and sang songs and was a little sunbeam and listened so good to the lesson and got to color a picture (well... eat crayons). My baby is getting all growed up!
And just for fun, here are some pictures.
